From my former Pastor, Joe Warring ~ The days are evil, and evil will continue to manifest itself as people in this country continue to move away from Almighty God and instead tolerate and embrace the demonic darkness. We will hear much about gun control in the coming days, as people reach for temporal solutions to deal with spiritual matters. Frankly, as a former police officer, I can assure you the issue is not guns - the issue is EVIL - the embrace of darkness - of anger, violence, self-absorbtion, fantasy, drugs, hopelessness, and inevitably self-destruction. The demonic is REAL - Satan is a murderer and a liar, and today's events (and those at Columbine and Aurora) are Satanic manifestations through people who have given themselves over to the darkness... THAT is the reality. BUT there is hope: JESUS SAID, "I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD; HE WHO FOLLOWS ME WILL NOT WALK IN THE DARKNESS, BUT WILL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE!" (John 8:12) Come unto Him!
