When Obedience isn't

I have a friend who has on more than one occasion said to the Lord, "Before you ask me, the answer is yes". His intention is to be instantly obedient in all things.

Mostly he is.

Mostly I am.

YET, if you look at what the Lord asks us to do, are we? Keith Green used to wrestle with this. The lyrics of the song "To Obey is Better than Sacrifice" paint a picture of compromise today.

To obey is better than sacrifice
I don't need your money
I want your life
And I hear you say that I'm coming back soon
But you act like I'll never return

Well you speak of grace and my love so sweet
How you thrive on milk, but reject My meat
And I can't help weeping of how it will be
If you keep on ignoring My words
Well you pray to prosper and succeed
But your flesh is something I just can't feed

If the Lord asked you to eat Dung or at least food roasted over dung, if he asked you to walk around naked for a year, or lay on one side for a year, or remain stoic a the death of a spouse.

Obey?

If the Lord sent you to people you hate, despise, would you go, or let them rot in hell?

Obey?

If the Lord asked you to Bark like a Dog, howl like a Lion, Crow like a Chicken in a worship service, would you? Some did...and it caused problems.

Obey?

If the Lord commanded you to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and even declared in a near mandate that you should speak in tongues?

Obey?

I bring this up because it happened to people in the Bible, in revival and in the case of tounges to all people. I have presented this question to good Christian men and they have said, "My God would NEVER ask me to crow like a Rooster in Church, or Bark like a Dog". They are sincere and in a sad way are right. THIER GOD, not the God of the Universe, Won't ask them to do this. They have enthroned man above God.. another God, obeying the mandate of MAN, not GOD. So their God as demonstrated in a fear of Man is the opposite of the Pattern of God who says I am no respecter of persons.

The only thing standing between you and total obedience is your pride, your fear of man and your traditions.

Other Gods.

The word of the Lord:

Thou Shalt have NO other Gods before me for I am a Jealous God.

To Obey is Better than Sacrifice

You Cannot Pass your Mantle to your Children or Children's Children. Only God can do that.

The Spirit of God in me has railed against presumption manifested by nepotism in ministry. The assumption that being the son or daughter of an effective 5 fold minister somehow by blood passes to the progeny. It happens so seldom that when a black swan event seems to succeed we point to those unique times as examples. They are false. Eli the prophet's sons were failures, Aaron's sons were killed by God for being presumptive in ministry and Samuel who had hopes for his boys, instead raised reprobates. Great men and women of God seldom raise successful successors from their own bloodline.

There are almost zero positive examples of a five fold minister successfully handing down his or her mantle to the next generation. I can think of only a few close calls and they were anemic at best. Joel Osteen doesn't count. If you know the story, he was not handed the ministry from John. John Died, Joel reluctantly picked it up. New day new game.

Why do we not hear of the children of Apostles and Disciples who carried the torch in the Book of Acts or the Epistles? Peter had children. Nothing. Phillips Daughters were prophetesses. What was more often the pattern, recognition was given to a good father or mother who prepared their son or daughter well. When Timothy emerged Lois (his Grandmother) got some sunshine.

Yet the pattern repeats. Again and again we see and hear of spectacular shipwrecks of unprepared children who took over when Pastor dad/mom died or retired from the ministry and the net result was heartbreak. It's almost a guarantee.

What brings this to the surface once again is the arrest of Richard Roberts on a DUI, the son of one of the late Generals of the faith, Oral Roberts, in the past few days. I remember being in a meeting with Richard Roberts in Broken Arrow at Kenneth Hagin's Church. There was great prophetic confidence that he would take over the ministry of his father and do mighty exploits. Nothing has been further from the truth. He has spiraled downward. All the prophetic words in the world couldn't turn a pattern that nearly always occurs. In business as in ministry, family succession is a Rags to Riches to Rags in 2 (Sometimes 3 generations). It's legendary.

There is a prophetic admonition in all this. If you would have your son or daughter follow you in ministry and maybe pick up your mantle someday, get them out of the greenhouse environment of your church and out into the field for hardening off. They will need it. They cannot pick up that mantle unless they have spent years in the desert discovering all the good water holes, the good hiding places, where friends and enemies located, where the escape routes and where the safe caves are. They need to learn to live off the land in a desert place. They need to learn to acquire their own followers from those wandering the desert with them. THEN, if they choose (mostly they won't) they can come back and pick up the mantle you will leave behind. It worked for David...it didn't work as well for Solomon.

It would be better, even if you have a prophetic inkling that they are destined to follow you on, to keep it to yourself. My oldest son told me last year that when he saw me preaching from the pulpit when he was about 13 years old (he's 44 now), he said to himself, "I want to do that". He never told me. He drifted from the faith. Was beaten up in the world. Today he is a Pastor in a Church and doing what he saw me do. I had no clue this was on his heart. If God had shown me, I might have messed it up.

What works in finding a successor for your ministry is discover the graces of God already among you. Nurture and blow on the hot coals of that grace until he or she comes alight. That requires hunger and persistence on the part of the one to follow in desiring the mantle you wear ... not on the one about to hand off the mantle. You will ultimately shed your mantle, who picks it up is not your call. It's God's.

The story of Elijah and Elisha in transition and the passing of Elijah's mantle is how it REALLY happens. The one receiving is in place, prepared, persistent, intent, hungry for more of GOD and when the time comes for the mantle to pass, the transfer is seamless. The mantle fits perfectly. The key to receiving the mantle is how much do y0u really want it, are you willing to pay the price?

I have sat with church leadership with a looming succession crisis to help them understand this pattern of mantle transfer, how necessary it will be for the one to whom the mantle may be passed to be hardened off on the field of battle with principles of ministry hammered out on the anvil of experience. Most of the time that word of wisdom is not received. I'm not offended. I am saddened.

We misunderstand how God sees our family when we decide that ministry is a generational enterprise. He sees us as individuals, not as a family. IF he calls two people from the same family into the ministry it's more often amazing rather than assumed. Yes, I can call by name certain people who's daddy and who's daddy's daddy were in ministry. Sometimes the Grace of God is such that they are able to pick up and carry on (purely by Grace) ...but it is much more often NOT the case. Most of the time this is the road to ministry destruction it took a lifetime to build. I could point to a dozen current examples happening right now all around me. The sad part is everything they ever built, ever planned for, ever believed God for just evaporates as the Mantle is improperly passed. This is a case of not heeding James 4 (from the Message Bible)

Nothing but a Wisp of Fog

^13-15And now I have a word for you who brashly announce, "Today—at the latest, tomorrow—we're off to such and such a city for the year. We're going to start a business and make a lot of money." You don't know the first thing about tomorrow. You're nothing but a wisp of fog, catching a brief bit of sun before disappearing. Instead, make it a habit to say, "If the Master wills it and we're still alive, we'll do this or that."

^16-17As it is, you are full of your grandiose selves. All such vaunting self-importance is evil. In fact, if you know the right thing to do and don't do it, that, for you, is evil.

Hear the Word of the Lord:

I chose YOU for such a time as this. I lift one up and put another down. No man can rob Me of My Glory. I choose the foolish and weak to confound those who believe themselves wise. Your eyes are on your legacy (not MINE) when you appoint your successor by blood. You have no legacy other than what I gave you...when you pass from this earth a new one will emerge to take your place, one of my choosing, not yours. Moses my servant will be dead ... Joshua of no blood to Moses (son of Nun) will be my man in the new day. So it shall be for you.

Only I can measure the heart of a man, only I can define those who I will place before those called by My name. When you speak for Me and proclaim that this one or that one is to take that place, you take my name in vain. I anoint and appoint those who I will. Your duty is to recognize and embrace the ones I chose, just as I chose David, the least, over all of Jesse's sons.

I will draw My mighty men and women from the cave of Adullam, discouraged and hurt. In pain and rejected. Those who's brokenness I can reform into an image of ME, not YOU.

Let those with ears to hear, hear what the Spirit of the Lord says.

2012 – An Unconventional Year - Prophetic Insights By the Holy Spirit through Mary Lindow

I have a few things I would like to express to you before I share.

* As I prepare to communicate with those whom the Lord may have read these insights that He has impressed me with for the year 2012, I would like to advise that you would read with the intention of allowing the Holy Spirit to direct you to the Word of God for further confirmation and direction.

No one prophetic voice hears all, and it is a wise person who will listen to what the Lord would say through many individuals who have words to share. There will be a thread or theme that flows out of the multitude of voices, and the Lord will prune away what may well be opinions, personal expressions and flamboyance, or even sensational one-upmanship or eerie predictions filled with dread, or - maybe even ambiguous supernatural potential events.

Having shared this, please- as one of God’s own children, always return to His plumb line of the scripture to bring wisdom and balance to any prophetic words you may hear.

Let’s Begin:

2012 - An Unconventional Year

This will be a year where what often looks to be predictable and obvious will instead, go an entire different direction or take an unpredictable course.

The word “ Unconventional” has been the keynote word from the Lord to me.

The word unconventional means:

Unusual, irregular, unorthodox, unfamiliar, uncommon, unwonted, out of the ordinary, atypical, singular, alternative, different; new, novel, innovative, groundbreaking, pioneering, original, unprecedented; eccentric, idiosyncratic, quirky, odd, strange, bizarre, weird, outlandish, curious; abnormal, anomalous, aberrant, extraordinary; nonconformist, Bohemian, avant-garde; informal far out, offbeat, off the wall, wacky, madcap, oddball, zany, hippie, kooky, wacko.

“In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.”
Proverbs 16:9


GOD AND MAN AT ODDS
Many have built platforms and empires within their own self-created spheres that have brought for some, great levels of visibility and success. This applies heavily to corporate leaders as well as those holding on to the concept spiritually that one key leader is the “voice” for the many.

2012 will be a year where the abuses of power will continue to be not only exposed and addressed, but will also appallingly be made pubic and drug through more and more media mud slinging.

Again, the Lord has graciously given time to those who still cling to entitlement and an attitude of “specialness”, presuming they are more anointed, more brilliant and who have consistently attempted to be notable authorities, without having the personal lives behind the scene, that honor the heart and purposes of God.

It will be as if a box has been opened for all to see its hidden contents, or perhaps a drape drawn back to see what is hidden behind it. Plagiarism will be rampant in publications in both specular and spiritual genres. It will expose poor scholarship and rushed materials meant to entice hearts and to stroke the ego of the writer.

All of this the Father has warned over and over again within the heart of those now seared by greed and weak confidence in God’s plan and chosen times for promotions.

“
Some became fools through their rebellious ways,

TURNING AWAY FROM PRESUMPTION
So often the Lord has had to deal with the issue of His people presuming that “they know how” He- the Lord will or – “should” move in certain settings, only to be gravely disappointed and shocked when it appears as if the opposite happens.

To presume means to take for granted that something exists or is the case. It also means to make unjustified demands; take liberties.

Unless we as believers become solidly and firmly trained up in the study of the Scripture, not just the memorizing and quoting of it randomly, there will continue to be fractured teaching and many bizarre approaches to what is the plan of God for his people on planet earth.

“And He said to them, be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”
Mark 4:24

“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15


POSTURING OR PARENTING?
As the Lord continues to build and establish the model of genuine “Apostolic Fathering and Mothering”, in 2012 there will be a notable “fork in the road” for those called to this daunting assignment from Heaven.

The Father has asked me to lovingly but firmly warn those who are now in the possible place of having broader influences over another generation of developing young and tender leaders, to be very aware of where they stand.

A healthy and wise parent or mentor will train, model and provide safe boundaries for their children or students to grow and learn to step out into, knowing that they will experience difficulties and hardships, as well as many exciting growth spurts.

Those who need to have a following or remain as “cool and hip” as the young people they mentor will face a serious clash in the days ahead of them. Name dropping, self promoting of their spiritual acumen and harsh or condescending talking down to those in their care will result in being disqualified from moving into the next promise of Apostolic training and mentoring centers, which the Lord has been preparing for several decades.

You CAN teach an old Dog New Ways – If you bring in the MASTER trainer.

Saying things like “This is the way that you are” or that you are “set in your ways” exposes willfulness and a need for control. So does boasting that you have worked hard and have “earned” your title and position.” Those who posture or continue to tout their “higher levels of knowledge and insight” will become a sour source of reference, and the King of heaven will not bless them with further influence.

They now have a choice to set things right with those whom they have “kept under their thumbs” and whom have not been allowed to move into to the fullness of their calling. Chose the path of humbling yourselves in the sight of the Lord.

His example of lowliness and the release of others into the harvest fields will be the only model that Father will bless in the days ahead.

I believe all human fatherhood should be patterned after the Divine Fatherhood.

The Lord would have these whom are stand in this place of decision that it does not matter that you have done mighty or impressive things in the past years. That is past and gone. You have received your rewards. Move now into a place where inclusiveness in Kingdom equality and honor are practiced openly and freely. Those who still have the aloof approach in sharing of honor and position will be eventually left on their own, having exhausted and exasperated those whom they were suppose to train and release.


ANOTHER GENERATION ALSO SHINES BRIGHTLY
Let the up and coming leaders in other generations shine in what they do!
Don’t compete or try to be as “cool” as they are in their genre of expression. Let GO!

“Fathers, do not exasperate (harass – provoke - embitter – aggravate)
your children that they may not lose heart and become discouraged.”
Colossians 3:21

He who always finds fault with a child; who is never satisfied with what he does; who scolds and frets and complains will eventually break his spirit, and soon destroys in the delicate texture of his soul all desire of doing well.

The child in despair soon gives over every effort to please. He becomes sullen, morose, stupid, and indifferent to all the motives that can be presented to him, and becomes to a great extent indifferent as to what he does - since all that he does meets with the same reception from the parent.

“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.”
Deuteronomy 4:9


THE POWERLESS AGAINST THE MIGHTY
The Father in heaven has an exclusive responsibility towards His people and He cries out to them through the Holy Spirit that just as he moved on behalf of Asa and his men when surrounded by a vast army and 300 chariots, so will He move again on behalf of those who are obedient to His voice and commands.

He tells you at this time to put HIM between yourself and the enemy.

When Asa realized his lack of strength… THEN he saw Jehovah God crush the Cushites. They were “Crushed before the Lord and their foes.” 2Chronicles 14:13

Then Asa called to the LORD his God and said, "LORD, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O LORD our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; let not man prevail against You."
2 Chronicles 14:11


THE “BUGLE” TO BE “FRUGAL”
There will be several “invented” crisis settings in 2012 that will cause many to choose to hoard and stockpile for themselves. They will be quickly exposed as moneymaking schemes and a tool to inflate prices.

Oh the other side of this there will be those who have very little with which to live and eat due to job losses and cutbacks. Those around them, if not filled with the fruits of Grace and Mercy, will become indifferent to the cry of their needs, for there will be many.

“Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.”
Isaiah 58:7

The Lord would have me share that He is indeed watching to see if the heart of the Apostolic move of God can be again modeled as when the people brought what they had, to trusted and integral teams of leaders, who then distributed with prayer and wisdom to all, and none had any lack.

We are at a time where the Body of Christ must share resources willingly and fairly and not justify personal strictures that apply to others, but not them selves.

Here is a scriptural measuring stick to use to observe the true Apostolic heart and Leader.

Psalm 112:9
They share freely and give generously to those in need.
Their good deeds will be remembered forever.
They will have influence and honor.


FINAL PROPHETIC WORDS
THE UK - IRELAND – FRANCE – GERMANY – CANADA

“Then I was told, You are to make a fresh prophecy
concerning many peoples and races and nations,
And languages and kings.” Revelation 10:11

The United Kingdom
There will be a ROAR of Prayer heard from desperate hearts in the UK. Prayer will be a way of life in many small Hamlets and Villages, and many homes will become chapels of healing and miracles.

The prostitution red light districts in Central London will have an epic move of God as He sends in intercessors in tandem with relevant and fiery Revivalists who will have such a strong presence of God with the Power of Holy Spirit bringing conviction that even the hardest atheist observing it all will be made to run away in terror at the potent power of God falling upon the filth of prostitution.

Joel 2:25
And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten--the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, my great army, which I sent among you.

Houses of hope and care will spring up in smaller surrounding areas, where these whom have once been bound will be cared for and restored.

Galatians 6:1
BRETHREN, IF any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.

Ireland
There are many hidden and faithful leaders who have weather political and spiritual storms for decades who are now well prepared and ready for the Father’s divine plan for their lives.
Ireland will begin to export teams of Apostolic and Prophetic missionaries into the USA and Europe. These people will have a razor sharp ability to cast out religious spirits hindering moves of God. They will bring with them the fresh songs of praise and worship now ready for the hungry ears of the true worshiper.

The “cynical” Irishman will now become the grand believer declaring – “With God all things are possible”!

There will be a spotlight on Ireland with new technologies being developed and mined there. With it, doors will open for many to travel to Ireland and find Father and Mother Mentors ready to restore, train, and release.

France and Germany
The Father calls France, “A nation now in chaos”. But as an underground stream flows swiftly and quietly, so do those who have determined to pray and intercede with heart wrenching pleas for the Father to move within their land.

A spiritual passivity will begin to be addressed and shaken off of the hearts of fearful and hidden believers. There will begin to be a few strong and ethical governmental leaders rise up who will begin to risk addressing the rapidly encroaching militant attacks against the people of France and its outlying regions. There will be community vigils of prayer in local churches and the repenting of passiveness and elitist thinking.

German and French believers will begin to view one another in a Kingdom perspective and join in prayer and service to one another, creating a groundswell of food pantries with farmers and dairies that will create CO-OPs.

The key to breaking the spiritual stagnation in France will be the humbling of hearts before the Throne of God, and reaching out beyond its own borders.

Ephesians 2: 14
For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us.

Germany
Germany will have a large revolt and uprising from among the youth as the economy continues to stress and bend. Looting and the stealing and selling of automobiles will become a raging epidemic.

For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive and recognize and know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him).
1 Corinthians 1:21

Simultaneously, Young street evangelists who have been well trained as well as educated will be commissioned to reach out to those rioting and manifesting. Government leaders will not know what to do with the uproar, and sanctions against open religious expressions will be put in place.

Nevertheless, young Paul’s and Silas’s will not fear what man can do to them and will continue to flow in the power of Evangelism, seeing the hand of God spare the lives of many.

Jonah 3:2
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach and cry out to it the preaching that I tell you.

CANADA
Canada will experience one of its most prosperous seasons even known, for a short season.
The Lord would have Canada know that they must deal fairly with the wealth that they will produce and pay back the First Native families, and with Godly equity. If this is not addressed with wisdom and integrity, Canada will have to pass through the sorrows of disobedience.

Canadian Intercessors are being awakened and called up to stand in the place of prayer for its leaders and tribes. Now is not the time for silliness and laughter.

It is a sober day, with a command for sober prayers.

Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect).
1 Thessalonians 5:6

“Get up! Stand UP! Be Purposeful,” says the Lord. How do you not know that through your borders I can bring a North American Wave of Justice and Restoration?”

1 Peter 1:13
So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed.

Blessed Economist: Prophets are Different

This may help us all understand something about Prophets:

To a person endowed with prophetic insight, everyone else appears blind; to a person whose ear perceives God’s voice, everyone else appears deaf. No one is just; no knowing is strong enough, no trust complete enough. The prophet hates the approximate, he shuns the middle of the road. Man must live on the summit to avoid the abyss. There is nothing to hold to except God. Carried away by the challenge, the demand to straighten out man’s ways, the prophet is strange, one-sided, an unbearable extremist.

Words that Move the Hand of God

Here's what the Lord says (amplified):

^{Isaiah 44:25}[I am the Lord] Who frustrates the signs and confounds the omens [upon which the false prophets' forecasts of the future are based] of the [boasting] liars and makes fools of diviners, Who turns the wise backward and makes their knowledge foolishness,

²⁶[The Lord] Who confirms the word of His servant and performs the counsel of His messengers, Who says of Jerusalem, She shall [again] be inhabited, and of the cities of Judah, They shall [again] be built, and I will raise up their ruins,

²⁷Who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers,

IF that's true...then how should we live as a Prophet?

This keeps me in line. The Lord seems to be saying, if you speak it, I will bring it to pass...

Our words carry power..use them carefully.

John Belt: Yielding Our Souls to the Desires of the Spirit

One of the things that is constant in our lives is the need to yield ourselves to the desires of the Holy Spirit. Everyone has desires. Everyone has preferences. But all of these things have to yield to the desires of the Spirit. It goes back to the saying, "He is God and we are not." On one hand, God has delegated great authority to us in regards to His Kingdom. Our faith can move His hand, actually causing Him to act, because He is so pleased with faith. On the other hand, God ultimately has our best interest in mind. He knows when we cross over into thinking we know what is best – when it is more purely us rather than Him. In this, He will basically put in plan His "safe-guard." What I'm referring to is He knows more than we know, knows what is on the other end of things, and protects us when we think we know what is best for us, but we really don't. In this, we simply yield to His desires, because Father knows best.

Sure enough, if we get caught up in anxiousness and fear, then we have lost connection. Jesus assured us that these would not help us at all, but will actually make things worse. It really goes back to our reality check. What world is more real to us? Is it this present world or the eternal? When we are more aware of the ultimate eternal life with God, when the temporal world no longer makes much difference, there is a freedom that comes in our spirit – because this place is not our home. We are journeying through this life knowing that our home is that which is not made by hands but by God in the Heavens.

The truth is that we can now live out of the place of eternity. Eternal life has been communicated evangelically as a transaction that occurs when someone gets saved into the Kingdom of God. This is only half true. Eternal life is also a way of life. We live from this quality of life that Jesus opened the way for us to experience. Paul tells us to focus on the eternal, not the temporal. In this, we free our minds from the cares of this life. I guess you could call it escapism, but that is not quite the case. When we live from the temporal realm, it is inferior to the eternal. It is the difference between a Ford Pinto and a Rolls Royce, between eating a burger from McDonald's or having filet mignon, processed food versus an apple. "You are what you eat." You will reap the benefits of whatever you choose to ingest. The eternal realm is comprised of the life we are called to live in. Heaven is our home. The eternal realm is in God. But, make it more personal: He is our Father, the Everlasting Father.

Let the Peace of Christ Rule Your Heart

In Colossians 3:15, we are told to "let the peace of Christ rule [our] hearts." It all begins with a choice. We say in our hearts, then speak with our mouths. The tongue is the rudder of our being. It guides our ship. What comes out of our mouths is where we are going. Whatever our meditation is, that is what we will end up talking about the most. We talk about what is most valuable to us or what we've chosen to make our meditation. In all these things we need to yield our hearts and thoughts to God, ask Him to fill us with His thoughts, meditate on His words and fix our eyes upon the Lord. His peace is greater than we can imagine.

Not long ago, I was in a situation where a man who had only a little experience with God stayed in the same house with us overnight. I had a dream that night that I was pushing the devil underneath my feet. I was literally pushing down on his head with my feet. The next morning this person came to me saying he had a dream where he actually saw "peace." I asked him, "You saw it?" He said, "Yes!" He went on to say that he had never in his life experienced anything like this before. I saw him again later in the day and he repeated it to me. He could not get over it! What I believe happened was, as I was sleeping, my spirit was pushing out the devil's realm in his life where it actually opened a door for him to experience the peace of God.

The point is that God's peace is beyond our understanding. Our natural minds cannot begin to comprehend how great His love is for us, His peace is to us and His joy is within us. God causes our cup to run over. He doesn't just fill it up. It is an overflow! It is worth it to yield ourselves to God. He knows what is best for us. He does not disappoint.

Verily Verily

Jesus often started a statement with these words as from the Greek and Aramaic. Verily Verily. He wanted us to understand that was He was about to say was not simply truth, it was the truth about the truth. Truth Truth. This is an absolute.

When he spoke such things it had the net effect of driving a stake in the ground of fiction. Hanging a plumb-line over the deceptions rampant to demonstrate deviation.

This is what is missing in much of the Christian Churchianity. I hear it. I see it. I experience it. We are full of sound and fury signifying nothing. All hat and no cattle. Smoke but no fire. Yet there is verity. There is truth. I see it from time to time. I see legitimate reality. It is clothed in humility and quietness. It comes masked as a beggar. It comes without fanfare and often without a microphone. It almost never appears on Christian Television. I doesn't usually have much of a building nor a very large congregation.

Those who seek HIM in the right places, find HIM. He's never far off but there are so many other pretenders who are jumping into the arena. There is a commercial for Ladders that ran a few years ago. Since I see Jesus in everything, this made me think of the search for JESUS and the mass confusion a lost soul sees when he looks at "Religion".



Jesus came into such a world. A woman at a well was confused by all the players on the court. Jesus had to speak to her with verity.

And she was changed forever.

Can we do the same??

From Apostle Barbara Yoder Today - Established Doctrine emerges From Experience Breakthrough in Revival

I went to hear and see Apostle Barbara Yoder at Pat McMannus's Church in Aurora today.

Lots of good insight. I enjoy her prophetic insight. Meeting Pastor Pat was a treat.

The core teaching she gave that struck me was this. A church or moment's doctrine results from the manifest revival and what led up to that event. If a Movement (I'll call it denomination because it's what that is all about) experiences great growth, they will always look back to the past to figure out why it happened and declare that you can't have real revival unless you:

• Travail in intercessory prayer
• Have Extraordinary worship
• Street Evangelism
• Feed and clothe the poor
• Take Communion every Sunday or 4 times a year or something in between
• Pray the Rosary, Lords Prayer, 23rd Psalm or speak in tongues without ceasing
• Get everybody Baptized in the Holy Ghost
• Baptize Adults after conversion only
• Baptize Babies soon after birth
• Get converts while they are young (Sunday School Movement)
• Educate, Sunday School,or in general train up folks intense discipleship
• Great Teaching and Preaching (look at the 70s)
• Develop a shepherding, disciple making something
• Tabernacle of David 24/7 Prayer and Praise
• Signs, Wonders, Healings and Manifestations

All of these things are good. Not ONE of them are the KEY to revival alone. A hungry desperate heart is all that counts. If we are desperate enough, revival will come. As Apostle Barbara said, "You have to be twice dead and then plucked up". In the plant world, that's pretty dead. We must die to all our machinations and formulas on how to do it. We can't engineer revival.

Yet frankly it is amusing, if you look at church history so many traditions and doctrines came out of corporate experiences that lead to beliefs that lead to doctrines all of which can be supported by Biblical evidence. Hence we have a zillion denominations all manifesting a historical revival root.

I have often said that it's lucky I didn't get saved eating ice cream in a rowboat. Otherwise I would have to start the Ice Cream in a Rowboat denomination. Don't want to do that.

Aren't Christians amusing? I think it's time we get over our bad self and tell ourselves the truth...we have messed up the word of God by our traditions. Jesus said so.

How about sticking to the Knitting?....or is that another tradition (denomination)

Dr. Mark J. Chironna: Behold, I Am Making All Things New: Destiny Stands in Need of You!

The cry from the One who sits on the throne in Revelation 21:5 is about making all things new. It doesn't say He is making "all new things," rather He is "making all things new." God never wastes grace, and neither are we to do so. In a consumer-driven culture that always wants new things, the order of the day is to discard whatever no longer has that "new" look or "new" excitement. It's called "planned obsolescence," and the economies of free nations have capitalized on that in the past century.

When we entered the second decade of the new millennium, we entered into what many called "The Shift Age," and for good reason. Behind all of history is the unseen hand of the Eternal God who is causing all things to work together according to His ultimate intention and purpose, whether those outside His Kingdom can see that or not.

So, as we look down the corridor of the year 2012, we need to be mindful of the reality that it is part of a larger "epoch" in the flow of history. It is connected to a decade that began in 2010 that will be marked by the need for many shifts in many areas due to the rapid and accelerated pace of unprecedented change. Daniel's recorded prophetic revelation from the Heavenly Messenger relates these words in what seem to be tied to these times: "...many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase" (Daniel 12:4).

There will be patterns of oscillation multiplying in the lives of many who are in the dark. Yet, there is an emerging company of those who have insight into the times and will lead many who are in a "back and forth" oscillating pattern (which equals being in a "stuck state") into the flow of a new day and a new epoch of the Spirit prior to the coming of the Lord.

It is time for the light within each child of God to shine brightly against the backdrop of the prevailing darkness that is covering the earth, not unlike the chaotic darkness that existed at the dawn of creation.

Compassion

Certainly, transition mastery will become a refined and upgraded "skill set" amongst those who walk in the light of God's glory. Added to that will be a renewal of life in the Spirit as God has intended it to be. There is a deeper work of the Spirit that will be an earmark in the coming days. There will be a "making new" of the Lord's wineskin, His elect, His "called out company," who will, as their Savior did, look out over the fields that are white unto harvest and see the multitudes that are going "back and forth," oscillating in a never-ending cycle of a nest of fear-driven behaviors and beliefs, and see them as distressed and downcast, as sheep without a shepherd. And, like their Master, this renewed company will be moved with compassion and bring a new level of healing and wholeness to those who cry out for answers, for peace, for hope, and for deliverance!

Compassion will become a watchword in the coming days as more and more structures in society will seem to be collapsing. As social containers continue to undergo radical shaking (family-relational structures, community-relational structures, and the like), multitudes in the valley of decision will be crying out for hope and help.

Our understanding of what it means to be an apostolic company will return to a renewal of the days of the early Church, and the government of God will not be in the hands of a select few, rather it will be manifest in companies of people who value community and relationship toward the end that they will be committed wholeheartedly to fulfilling the Great Commission.

God is Already Moving in the Lives of Those We've Yet to Visit

As the culture becomes more and more secularized, the renewed saints will partake of the new wine of the new day of the Spirit, and there will be a tremendous resurgence of the presence and power of God manifest, not only in the meeting places where the saints gather, it will also become more prevalent in the marketplace, where God has always been moving, even when the Church resisted Him and refused to go there.

A radical discovery is going to take place in the coming days, as radical as the discovery of the spies that were sent into the Promised Land by Joshua to spy out the city. The renewed saints who are moved with compassion for the multitudes in the valley of decision (who are distressed and downcast, and who are going "back and forth" in an oscillating pattern that offers no new direction or path to take) will discover, as did the spies, that God is already moving in the lives of those that we have excluded from the table.

We are about to discover that the Spirit is moving in places the Church has yet to visit. It will take a courageous, risk-taking company of the people that know their God to boldly go out to where the sinners are and speak to them of the One who is already working at some level in their lives, in order to bring them to the knowledge of the truth and the light of the glory of God in the face of the Son of God.

How to Flourish in a Hostile Environment

There will be a renewal of ancient and often overlooked patterns and principles that caused the Church to flourish in a hostile environment. Christianity in America has become a marginalized collection of individuals who now find themselves facing hostile opposition to the truths they hold dear.

This will only serve as a backdrop for the greatest awakening in North America since the 1700s. There is a Springtime coming in the next 48 months in the Spirit to a generation that is going to cry out to God and be heard.

There will come a radical shift away from the Church as an institution in the culture, to a MOVEMENT that will have the power to TRANSFORM the culture. Christianity as an institution has to die in order for Christianity as a MOVEMENT to be resurrected. God is making all things new by the ancient, tried and true process of death, burial, and resurrection.

This is the very reason that so many saints in the last number of years have found themselves in the midst of fiery trials and what the apostle Peter calls a "strange thing" that is happening to those who have been graced to share with Christ in the fellowship of His sufferings, in order to partake of Him in the power of His resurrection.

Resurrection Life

Resurrection will become more than a doctrine in the coming days, it will become a way of life. As the consumer-driven culture is losing hope in "things" and asking if there is not more to life than this, a renewed company of the elect are going to be rising out of dead things and pressing to the mark of the prize of their high calling.

Resurrection life is life on a totally different dimension. What does the next move of God look like? I don't know, however this much I do know: It won't look like the last one. It will have all the same essential, non-negotiable truths and principles, however it will be exercised with a methodology that is relevant to the Gospel and relevant to the culture. The days of God showing up in a three-piece suit may be long gone, yet some refuse to give their suits a decent burial. If we can't handle Jesus in tattered blue jeans and flat top sneakers, we might miss what God is doing.

The Government Will Be on His Shoulders, Not on Ours

In this season of 2012, there is a new sense of order emerging: The government will be on His shoulders, not on ours! Apostolic theocracy will be about giving Jesus back His Church for His purposes. Apostolic will describe not just a chosen few preachers, it will describe an entire company of the priesthood of all Believers who have been called to invade the culture with the love, compassion, and resurrection power of Christ Himself!

Apostolic theocracy won't be about a chosen few at the top with all the power. In fact, the genuine apostolic leaders are going to shift from being "on top" to taking a place "on the bottom," for the sole purpose of pushing the saints "to the top" and to the forefront. God is going to carefully minimize those who want to polish their ministries and exalt those whose goal is to "polish the saints" for the work of service, to the end that Christ will be able to be revealed through them in the marketplace where the multitudes are in a stuck state, in a pattern of oscillation, going back and forth, and going nowhere fast.

Renewed Intimacy with the Father

There is a renewed intimacy with the Father that is coming for those who press their way into what He has for them. The love of the Father and the heart of the Father are going to become far more paramount in the hearts and minds of the faithful.

While the darkness will cause the oppressed that are outside the Kingdom to downsize their dreams, the saints will rise and shine in the glory of their Father and model what it is to live in the Father's dream, and the lost will see the good works of the saints executed with grace and compassion, and the lost will begin to call out to the Father of lights and be reconciled through the Blood of Christ.

The Kingdom message will begin to prevail in greater ways, because the Kingdom is all about RELATIONSHIP, not about gold streets and mansions. It is about a prepared place with Christ before the Father, even in the present moment. Evangelism will no longer be the work of a committee at an institutional church. Evangelism will become the by-product of a called-out company of the renewed saints who will return to being a "witness" of the Light in the presence of the darkness.

Many will come out of hiding and fear and will begin to boldly tell their own personal, simple story of what God has done for them in the current hour. The multitudes are crying out not for our dogmas or our traditions, they are crying out for a direct experience with Christ, even if they don't know that is what they are crying out for. He is the Desire of All Nations, and in this year of renewed governmental order, He is coming to rule and reign in the hearts of the surrendered for the sake of the lost He came to save.

Relationship is the All-Governing Principle for the Coming Days

In addition and in closing, this is the Hebrew year 5772, and while there are many significant insights to be gained from the prophetic meaning of the numbers, one thing shines out to me above all others: This is a year of renewed INTIMACY. Greater intimacy with God leads to greater intimacy with others. Relationship is going to be the all-governing principle for the coming days. It is time to renew established relationships, rebuild fragile relationships, and restore broken relationships. God is on the move.

Compassion is NEVER HELPLESS; it moved Jesus to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and lift up the downcast. It is time for a fresh immersion in the compassion of Christ, a deepening of what it means to be "spiritual," to be "in the Spirit." It is time to bring healing and wholeness to those that are crying out for it, in every aspect of their lives, and in every area of their life experience. Destiny stands in need of YOU!

DON'T invite your unbelieving friends to Church Next Sunday --- with two exceptions

I have heard something from the Lord that is controversial, we need to hear it:

"Unsaved People should not be invited to Church. Church is for believers".

You hear it all the time, invite your unsaved friends to Church. It might be OK for a special meeting, but we have taken this to a new level that has resulted in a lukewarm religion. Church is not the place for evangelism. Evangelism needs to be on the street or in the home over a cup of coffee. How do we get back to the true purpose of the Church? It lines up with something Martin Luther said.

A blog written by Alan Knox spoke of this.

I had read Alan's post long ago. I also read much of Luther's material on this. We have such public meetings, they are called crusades. The purpose is to help seekers hear a gospel message. The problem is we have degraded the believers service to a lukewarm don't offend anyone, particularly unbelievers meeting. It then neither serves to evangelize the unbeliever nor edify the believer. Luther backed away from this position under pressure...but based on what I am sensing, we need to revisit this.

I have not seen a recent video by a young man and the church, "loving Jesus but hating religion". I have intentionally stayed away from it. I did read an editorial on the Wall Street Journal website that touches this.

There is a reason this has touched a nerve and caused the voice of God to ring in my head as it did over this. We are wasting a precious gift in the church.

There are two categories of people to invite to church:

1. Backsliders who at one time were part of a church but who fell away. It will ring a bell for them. It will restore them to faith in God.
2. A person going to a cold dead church should be invited to church with more light. One should always be seeking more light.

But the unbeliever who has only been to church a few Christmas and Easters, an occasional wedding or funeral will find themselves baffled or mislead by the normative church service in America. At one end of the spectrum it will be boring and confirming to the unbeliever as a waste of time or it will be strange and perhaps a little frightening to him or her. So, we try to "tone it down" to not offend, make it seeker friendly. We fill the pews with people who have never encountered the creator of the universe while the pastor walks on an eggshell strewn tightrope to keep them. What a farce.

That's NOT what Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 14:22-25

Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers. 23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind? 24 But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, 25 as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”

If you are a true prophet you will do more to convert the lost by telling them what God things about them, what HE knows about the, how HE loves them, what HE sees in them prophetically. "The secrets of their hearts laid bare". This is the way God uses me in evangelism and it SELDOM happens in Church. Pastors are fearful of the true prophetic and seldom will make room for it in their services. So what Paul says to do never happens in Church.

The true evangelists I know who really get results SELDOM do it in church. Evangelist Patrick-Arie Sabaitis, Keith Darrell and Reinhard Bonnke.

They go to the highways and byways and compel people not to come to Church but to come to JESUS...
God is encouraging us to rethink this whole thing...again. If you have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to us today.

Kim Clement: "We've Entered into Something Brand New"

Prophesied January 3, 2012 from The Den – New Year's Message:

Debt, you're going to go! You're going to go as I proclaim the word that came to me a while ago. He said, "There will be a mountain that will come down. There will be no debt; there will be no debt to those who believe, to those who proclaim and say, 'Mountain go! Mountain go!'"

Who is going to take down the mountain? Who is going to prophesy and take down the mountain? Your sons and your daughters, they will bring down the mountain of debt. Your sons and daughters will bring down the mountain of debt. Say it! "My sons and daughters will bring down the mountain of debt." Mountain go! Mountain go!

"Just Give Me a Little Bit of Faith and I'll Conquer the Mountain"

For the Spirit of the Lord says, "Haven't I told you? I will do great things. I will do impossible things. Even though some of you find it so hard to believe, I will do it if you give Me just a little bit of faith. Just give Me a little bit of faith and I'll conquer the mountain." Listen to what He says. "Just give Me a little bit of faith and I'll conquer the mountain. Just give Me a little bit of faith and I'll conquer the mountain." Mountain go! Mountain go! Mountain go!

Right now, if you use your faith and believe what He said to you, your mountain will go.

"There's a mountain I will conquer in the middle of the year." Starting right now I'm going to do what it takes. I'm going to prophesy to dead bones, shout until the walls come down. I'm going to prophesy to dead bones, shout until the walls come down. I'm going to prophesy to dead bones, shout until the walls come down. I'm going to prophesy to dead bones, shout until the walls come down.

Mountain go! Mountain go! Sickness go! Sickness go! Debt, I'm going to trample upon you this year! Debt, I'm going to trample upon you this year! Death to debt! Death to debt! Death to debt! Death to debt!

"Your sons and your daughters, they will prophesy like Joel. In the last days they will prophesy like Joel and Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego. They will bring down the beast of the East. I'm speaking about your children," says the Lord. "The children of America will do it," says the Lord. "The children of America will do it," says the Lord. In the last days they will prophesy like Joel; just like Isaiah and Jeremiah, they will do it – and just like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they will bring down the beast of the East," says the Lord. Windows of Opportunity

The Spirit of the Lord says clearly, and I heard the word, "This day in which you live, there are creatures of the night that have caused My people to fear, caused children to take their lives. Fear has been rampant. But in this year, beginning now, for it is being proclaimed now, there will be small windows of opportunity, like what I did with Ford. Small windows of opportunity shall become big, but it shall only last for so long. Some of you are debt-free because you took advantage when the opportunity came. There are new wells that will be dug. These new wells will bring new resources to My people.

"This that happened in Japan the beginning of the year is a sign of the redundancy of the enemy. There shall be earthquakes, floods, that will bring damage to no one in My Kingdom. I will slay a beast that has stood and watched over you to destroy you. They will come and they will cause the earth to shake, the mountains to erupt, but there will be no damage. The damage that was caused in 2011 shall not happen in 2012. I will prove it; I will show you," says the Lord.

Year of the Youth

"This is the Year of the Youth. I told you about the Year of the Woman. Did you not see what happened?" says the Lord. "Did you not see what I did this year? It shall move from the older to the younger. Leaders will topple; kings will fall overnight. This shall happen throughout the East, the Middle East, and even in the West." But God says, "Enough of corruption. They have stolen, they have boiled My children, they have eaten them. This sacrifice is unacceptable. What I gave Daniel, I will give to them. Watch this year, for you will see your mountain conquered," says the Lord. "Whatever your mountain is," says the Lord, "I will give you the faith of a mustard seed, a small window of opportunity, new wells that shall be dug."

And God says, "Within one day, for some of you, you will be free of your debt. This year is the Year of the Youth. I will take them and cause them to do what I told Joel. They will prophesy night and day and they will bring down the forces that have stolen what belongs to My people," says the Lord.

Though They Erupt, There Shall Be No Damage

Kings will demand an answer. (Kim Sings): "Give me an answer to the dream, for I'm lonely and I have no answer," says the Babylonian king. "I dreamed a dream and no one knows, they lied to me. Is there a man, is there a man that will give me the answer to my fear? Is there a man, is there a man that will give me an answer, for no one knows that I fear, fear those that I dreamed about. Enough is enough. Those fools that tell me they've dreamed. Is there a man, is there a man that will tell me what I dreamed about last night?

Is there a man that knows the Spirit of the Lord? Is there a man that will tell me what I dreamed? 'Cause I'm afraid, I'm afraid that tomorrow will bring a beast. Is there a man, is there a man that will tell me what I dreamed – just one man? They've lied to me. Enough is enough. I saw a beast, I saw a beast. Nobody knows. I am that man, I am that man, my name is Daniel. Give me a chance and I'll tell you what you dreamed for the Spirit of the Lord came in the night. I had a night vision of a stone that became a mountain."

Listen to me for a moment. I'm doing something out of Daniel. I'm hearing the Spirit of the Lord tell me what he dreamed is beginning to happen now. Listen to me; this is very big. What he dreamed about is about to be manifest.

(Kim Sings): "I saw a stone; I saw a stone, but the stone became a mountain on the earth. The stone was somebody I didn't recognize, but I knew that He was likened to what Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego saw in the fire – the Son of God."

The Spirit of God says, "The time that Daniel spoke about has begun. 2012, 2012 is the beginning of the revelation that Daniel received."

The Spirit of God says, "There are mountains, there are kingdoms that represent the kingdom of darkness. There are mountains that represent the Kingdom of God. The mountain that represents the Kingdom of God has just been a stone but is about to erupt and spread. Therefore, because this is happening in the Spirit, it shall manifest in the earth as well. Look to your mountains. Look to the mountains this year; the flourishing. Look to the mountains of the East, of the West. Look to the mountains, for though they erupt, there shall be no damage. Japan was a sign of the Kingdom of God. It speaks of the earth shaking but no damage, no damage to the cities or the towns. This is representative of the Kingdom of God's eruption beginning in 2012," says the Lord. "I placed My prophet's feet in Japan, China, Korea. Watch how I show Myself through these nations," says the Lord.

We've Entered Into Something Brand New

We are in 2012. God spoke about seven years and what He was going to do up until Israel's celebration. Seven years from now is going to be one of the most marvelous and most powerful and most unique outpourings of God's Spirit on the earth, starting with young men. I spoke about the woman last year. Look what happened, how I've been attacked and my family, right on New Year's.

And as I was reflecting on this and thinking about it, the Lord said, "You know the trouble and the resistance and the attack – all of this that has come against you and God's people?" He said, "This is over. There will still be little struggles and things you have, but this huge monster of resistance," He said, "the worst is behind us. It's over. We've entered into something brand new."

This year the Lord told me there's going to be a restoration of the soul of our families and the soul of our nation. That's very important, and we're going to deal with that this year as well.

Prophets who confuse spirituality with being spiritualistic (spiritism. paganism)...

Prophets who make light of error, falsehood, and sin…

Prophets who constantly remark that no one else is like himself (pride)...

Prophets who teach doctrines which attack the foundations of faith...

Prophets who prophesy out of familiarity (familiar with you)...

Prophets who are always lamenting how rejected they are wherever they go...

Prophets who prophesy out of condemnation and ill-will, harsh and unforgiving...

We know, we have seen such and more, and this may also apply to apostles or any Ascension ministries...and you, too!

A Word for 2012: New Leadership, New Boldness and New Provision by J. Lee Grady

As I have prayed about the coming year, I’ve sensed three clear directives.

Some people are terrified of 2012. They worry because the Mayans of ancient Mexico mysteriously ended their 5,126-year-old calendar on Dec. 21, 2012—as if they expected the world to end that day. This silly hypothesis became the basis for several New Age books and a goofy disaster movie, 2012, in which actor John Cusack avoids meteors and earthquakes just in time to get his family aboard the modern version of Noah’s ark (built in China!) before the rest of the world is destroyed by a tsunami.

I’m not afraid of 12/21/12 because (1) Ancient Mayans never actually said the world would end in 2012—and even if they did, they didn’t have an inside track to God; (2) Doomsday predictions have never been accurate; and (3) Jesus holds the future in his hands. As long as I’m in relationship with Him, it doesn’t matter what happens on earth. I’m secure.

Despite strange weather patterns, global terrorism and the specter of an economic crash, I’m actually optimistic about where we’re headed in 2012. And as I have prayed about the coming year, I’ve sensed these three clear directives:

1. Expect major transitions in kingdom leadership. The world is focused on leadership in the political arena, but God has been working behind the scenes preparing men and women for kingdom assignments. Our focus should not be on Democrats, Republicans, Obama or Romney. 2012 is not about a presidential contest. Just as David was prepared for the throne during years of testing in the wilderness, a new battalion of Christian leaders has been trained in obscurity. They will be commissioned and appointed in the new year. And their influence—not that of a political figure—will shift the nation.

Jesus said He would call the humble from the back row and seat them at the head table. He openly rewards those who pray, fast, give and serve in secret. God will exalt those who have walked with Him in faithfulness and crucified selfish ambition. As in the days of Elijah, He has reserved thousands of prophets who have not bowed their knee to Baal. They have been in isolated caves of preparation for years, and some have been on the verge of quitting. A wind of new strength will cause them to stand and assume their positions.

2. The sound of evangelism must be amplified. The prophet Isaiah said: “Get yourself up on a high mountain, O Zion, bearer of good news, lift up your voice mightily, O Jerusalem, bearer of good news; Lift it up, do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, ‘Here is your God!’” (Isa. 40:9). Just as the early disciples prayed for boldness in the midst of persecution, and the Lord answered with a supernatural earthquake (see Acts 4:29-31), the Lord wants to turn up the volume of our message and empower us with a spirit of might. We must put aside our timidity. We cannot hide our light under a basket.

Many churches in the United States have not made outreach a priority. We’ve catered to the saved and preached to the choir. The Holy Spirit wants to remodel and revamp weak churches and make them into powerhouses of spiritual impact. He can take a church with a four-cylinder engine and outfit it with eight; He can turn up the volume and cause a quiet congregation to shake a city. In 2012, expect small churches to be revitalized. God specializes in using small armies, like Gideon’s group of 300, to catch the enemy by surprise.

3. Supernatural provision will be released. The great recession has brought heartache and difficulty to families, companies and churches, but it has a silver lining: God has used it to purify motives, refine faith and refocus priorities. The Holy Spirit has exposed our materialism, and His fire has also consumed unhealthy prosperity doctrines that tainted the church with scandal and greed.

Today, a new passion is arising in the church to fight injustice, feed the poor, show compassion to the broken and share Jesus’ love with unreached nations. We’re tired of giving money to support charlatans who demand private jets and luxury treatment; we want to serve the orphan and the widow in the spirit of Christ. And we are asking God for His supply, knowing that if God can feed a multitude with one lunch, or provide for a family with one jar of oil, He can open sources of provision we never knew existed.

Missionary Hudson Taylor said: “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.” I pray you will experience this truth in 2012.

Isaiah 66:9 says: “Shall I bring to the point of birth and not give delivery? … Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” Don’t fear the future. Receive new strength from the Lord as you step into this new year. No matter what disappointments or delays you have encountered during the past season, don’t give up. God brought you to this point, and He will not fail you now.

God puts one up and another down. Poverty Persists because Prosperity is a Danger to Many

This may be why the Occupy Wall Street Crowd are not real big on Jesus. Jesus opinion of those who should prosper are those who know what to do with prosperity. Jesus taught this in a parable. I once asked the Lord why I struggled in this area so many times. He said, "if I prospered you to the level you are believing for it would ruin you and destroy many around you". I am learning. I want to be wise when he DOES prosper me beyond my wildest imagination. "to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" Ephesians 3:20

This is FAIRNESS in the eyes of the Master...your and my master.

Matt 25:26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

I have had seasons of Great Wealth in my life and was not as wise as God is with me. I have never starved, but I haven't always been as good with money as I must become to earn the right to more than I can ask or imagine wealth. I'm getting there.

The friend of God! Such a distinction is clearly considered one of man’s greatest honors. Even so, that opportunity is granted to those who abide in Christ and His Word abides in them. The time has now arrived for the friends of Christ to begin to restore what has been stolen from the church. This will involve many areas of recovery involving our lost heritages.

Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you. For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; and I will make you like a warrior's sword –Zechariah 9:12‑13

The Lord is even going to begin to restore past relationships that our enemy has destroyed, delayed or neutralized. Relationships destroyed by rumors, gossip, and internal wounding will be supernaturally mended by the Lord during this season of the Spirit. I have experienced this myself in recent months as the Lord has wonderfully restored friendships with many that I love very much.

The Restorer of the breach will recondition us with the Spirit of Truth and a new wall of protection will be constructed to surround the true church. Plumb-line revelation of God's word is about to be established with clarity and power. It is around that Message of Truth that many will rally with divine alliances and unity that transcends present understanding.

The Lord is the restorer of the breach and the repairer of the broken walls...He is the restorer of former streets and dwellings and the One who un-stops old wells.

Truth Revealed

The prophet Daniel recognized this generation and described it as the "time of the end," in which knowledge will increase and great mysteries of the Kingdom will be revealed. Many believers are entreating the Lord to show great and mighty (hidden and set apart) things we presently do not know. The prophet Jeremiah was given the following promise when he spoke on behalf of the Lord:

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. —Jeremiah 33:3

If we are instructed to earnestly call upon the Lord, then its clear implication is that we will be endowed with the ability to hear from Him with precision and clarity! In this way, we will understand the articulation of prominent and awesome things that we presently do not know. It will be the unveiling of divine truth and the blueprint of Heaven for our time.

Our Source of Truth

In our quest to understand truth, we can turn to only one source as our absolute standard by which all truth is weighed—the Word of God. The revealed truth—gleaned from the merger of the Word and the Spirit—provides all that we need in this life and the one to come. Through redemption, the covenant promises and blessings are made available to us, as well as the unveiling of the nature and character of God.

The Scriptures and the spiritual impartation they convey are the only pattern by which we may know with certainty the events and directions of the future. They are the only source that satisfactorily answers the questions: Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going?

As someone once said: "Time can take nothing from the Bible. It is the living monitor. Like the sun, it is the same in its life and influence to humanity this day as it was years ago. It can meet every present inquiry and console every present loss."

Resident within the heart of spirit-filled believers should inherently be a great love for the Scriptures and for the truth they convey. It is the sword that separates spirit from soul—light from darkness. Although we are eternally grateful for the understanding we now have, deep wells of spiritual insight, mysteries, and truth remain to be discovered.

Vast Oceans of Truth

Perhaps many today can understand Sir Isaac Newton's perceptions when he wrote:

"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me."

An ocean of divine truth exists before us to be discovered by those anointed with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. Ephesians 1:17-18 emphasizes the right of every believer to be anointed with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. This wisdom is not merely the ability to mentally analyze a situation and make a good response. Rather, it is a spiritual endowment that allows a believer to explore deep into the heart of the Father, to perceive and understand the mysteries of the Kingdom and one's rights purchased through Christ's redemption.

Not only do we have the liberty to understand vast spiritual mysteries, but also the accompanying Spirit of Revelation to give illumination and comprehension of their reality. By them we may know:

1. What is the hope of His calling . . .

2. What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints . . .

3. What is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe . . .

—Ephesians 1:18-19

But there must be an anointing resting upon our spiritual eyes that we may see and our ears that we may hear—anointed eyes and ears. Presently we have a very limited understanding of the rich deposit of truth inherent in the Scriptures. Part of our mandate during this time in history is to unfold and demonstrate great redemptive truths as part of the hidden manna set apart and reserved for the end-time generation. Those with spiritual comprehension will have great insight and shine brilliantly in this dark age.

Spiritual Thoughts and Spiritual Words

Through The Church, The Holy Spirit is beginning to unveil the mysteries of the Kingdom by articulating and giving expression to spiritual thoughts with spiritual words (1 Corinthians 2:13). It will be Kingdom truth not taught by human wisdom, but the Holy Spirit granting the proper interpretation of spiritual truth through spiritual language. If we choose a receptive posture in this process, we will begin to understand His ways and apprehend His thoughts. The Lord is promising to reveal His thoughts and ways, which are much higher than ours, if we will only follow his prescription for a "higher way" of holiness.

Words, when anointed, become a spiritual vehicle that transports us from one realm to another; or, put another way, the natural word becomes spiritual through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In John 6:63, Jesus stated the words He spoke to them were both Spirit and life:

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, words attain a spiritual life of their own. The Spirit gives life to the message of the Kingdom which points to the Cross and transports one from the natural into the Spirit realm. At that crossroad, we discover the hope of our calling and the immeasurable greatness of His unlimited power toward those who believe.

Jesus Himself was actually representative of the "anointed Word." He was the Word of God incarnate and He is the Messiah, which translated means the Anointed One. His anointing is the fuel that propels the vehicle. Without the anointing, the vehicle cannot operate. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6).

For the ministered word to become spiritual food, it must proceed from the Lord's Presence through an anointed ministry in an atmosphere of the anointing. As His anointed word is quickened within us and we receive from it an impartation of Spirit and life, we are then growing into His full stature.

Truth Springing Fourth From the Earth

Acquiring knowledge about the Bible is a noble pursuit. However, it cannot be a substitute for knowing Jesus intimately as the Living Word. He is Living Truth. A "word" is a "thought" that has been given expression. Inherent in God are His attributes and thoughts. God gave articulation to His thoughts and virtues through the Word (Logos). The "Word" then became flesh and dwelt among us so we could behold His glory and comprehend the perceptions and qualities of God. Truth sprang forth from the very heart of God in Word form, imparting Spirit and life that is tangible spiritual substance.

Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him that glory may dwell in our land. Lovingkindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth springs from the earth; and righteousness looks down from heaven. —Psalm 85:9-11

The Holy Spirit's spotlight will be on Kingdom truths expressed in the above passage. The salvation here promised is not restricted to eternal life in our heavenly home, but includes deliverance of all kinds—rescue from trouble, distress, and calamity in this generation.

All who truly reverence Him and possess the fear of God rather that the fear of man may expect His impressive support and aid! God desires that the people called by His name possess the confident assurance that He will intervene in their troubles and deliver them.

It is the heart cry of all God's children to see His glory abiding in the land. As the prophet David once wrote: "For Thy lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Thy truth." (Psalm 26:3). As we discover the fullness of the Spirit of Truth and walk faithfully, we will experience His promised inheritance set before our eyes. The Kingdom's benefits—God's glory loving-kindness, mercy righteousness, and peace—are produced by the Spirit of Truth. If we are going to be fruitful, we must be faithful to the Spirit of Truth.

Truth Exposes Deception

The Spirit of Truth will expose the spirit of deception. When this is accomplished, great conflict results between the two camps. Again, we are confronted in our choices by the testing of our motives and desires. If we embrace the correct commission, we will be catapulted to greater measures of loving kindness and righteousness, and we will experience heightened expressions of His glory.

Testing produces choices that we must make in righteousness as we choose each day whom we shall serve. We must especially pray for a guard to be placed before our tongues so that our words are spoken in agreement with Him. Our prayerful petition should continually be for awakened spiritual senses and a covering to be placed around our hearts so we will not embrace deceptions—only the Spirit of Truth.

All our words should be galvanized with charity. Even if words of correction are necessary, when galvanized with charity they will always be fruitful—love never fails.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ. —Ephesians 4:14-15

If we do not cultivate a love for the truth, especially in the season ahead, we will be turned over to a spirit of delusion. The apostle Paul prophetically envisioned this day and wrote of it:

The one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false. —2 Thessalonians 2:9-11

Unfortunately, many erroneous doctrines continue to be embraced in the Church, providing veils that separate us from the One we seek. A powerful release of the Spirit of Truth is coming to those of God's people who are endowed with eyes to see and ears to hear. This visitation of truth is to guide us into all truth, dispelling the lies that have been taught as truth.

Bob and Bonnie Jones: Peace, Prosperity and the Returning Glory!

The latter glory of this house [with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts. Haggai 2:9

2012: The Return of God's Glory to the Church

This is the year the glory returns to the Church. Forty-two years ago Bob was told that God was removing His glory from the Church and writing Ichabod over it. Ichabod clearly means "the glory has departed" (see I Samuel 4:21). Bob inquired of the Lord as to why He was removing it. The Lord said that man had marketed it for self-gain. Man touched God's glory and He will not share it with anyone! The Lord said that Bob would live to see the returning glory, and from that time Bob has believed it would take place in 2012.

The Glory Train

In September 2009, in a trance, Bob was aboard a train with many other shepherds. Each one had a special seat assigned by the Holy Spirit. Bob asked the Conductor, "What is this train?" The Conductor told Bob it was the glory train and handed him a time capsule that was shaped like an egg. The egg had new life in it! It contained the beginning and end of time. Bob asked the Conductor, "When can I open this egg and when will this train arrive?" The Conductor said the time was within the egg and the egg will be opened in 2012.

Peace and Prosperity

December 29, 2011, Bob was given Haggai 2:9 and told that peace and prosperity would be given to the Believers in the Church. To those who know their God they will know God's peace and prosperity during a time of judgment. It will be the best of times for those who know God and the worst of times for those who don't.

Glory Brings Separation

To what extent the glory will come we don't know, but Bob has believed for 42 years that it will begin this year. The glory will bring a great separation between sheep and goats. God will separate the sheep from the goats single-handedly. There's a separating of the sheep and goats this day among the nations. The sheep you will see graze nicely upon God's lofty hills and become wealthy and wise, while the goats fall by the wayside. The goats will continue to be unclean while the sheep draw nearer to God. We are called to walk with God and be His sheep-herders.

God's Glory Arises

In this day of much devastation, you will see God's glory extended to the Believer. The day of God's glory is coming as the smoke from the rubble clears, and we will see God's glory arise from the ashes of the heap. His glory will be displayed as the saints go forth in love, joy, and truth. They will display God's love and extend healing to the weak and faint of heart. No longer will man doubt God's love or His power.

The Believer will rest in the peace of God and prosper in the fullness of His abiding glory as the glory returns to His Church.

Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda: The Year of God's Favor!

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. Isaiah 61:1-2a ESV

One of the words the Holy Spirit is emphasizing for us in this year is Isaiah 61 – this is the year of the Lord's favor! So what exactly does that mean for you? How can you step into this reality and experience God's favor in your life, your job, your relationships, your nation?

Proclaim

In both Isaiah 61, and later in Luke 4 when Jesus fulfills Isaiah's words, favor is initiated with proclamation! Favor is not passive. Favor is the anointing of the Holy Spirit to proclaim and release healing, deliverance, blessing and prosperity. The Message Bible translates it this way, "This is God's year to act!" (Luke 4:19).

In the year of God's favor, impossible situations turn around. In the year of God's favor, chains that once held you back are loosed. In the year of God's favor, the atmosphere is pregnant with miracles, signs, and wonders. In the year of favor, waste places are restored, missed opportunities redeemed, dreams reawakened. So in the year of the Lord's favor, don't be afraid to take up difficult challenges. God wants to open the doors of favor to you. How do you enter? Let's begin by looking at favor, so we can define this year by what God is saying, and begin to prophetically proclaim it.

Be Specific!

Every time favor is mentioned in Scripture, it is accompanied by a specific picture of what favor looks like. Isaiah 61 tells us what to expect in the year of God's favor: an increase in His presence and anointing; healing, deliverance, salvation, restoration, promotion, increase, joy! Israel experienced God's favor, and her enemies showered her with silver and gold. Joseph walked in favor, and he was promoted from the lowest dungeon to the palace. Esther experienced favor, and the unchangeable laws of the Medes and the Persians were reversed to bring deliverance to her entire nation.

We will share more examples of favor in this and future articles. Take these and begin to proclaim them. God sees your circumstances by what He can do, not what you can't do. Begin to pick up the vibration of God's possibility in your impossibility. God wants you to step into the reality of this word for your life today.

Proclaim a thing, and it shall be established. Job 22:28

Kingdom First

Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

What do you desire? Choose godly desires, and God will bring them to pass.

It is important that our first priority is the Kingdom of God. Seek first the Kingdom, and all these things shall be added to you. So, as we seek to walk in favor, and all the blessings that accompany it, let us make the things of God first in our life. Delight in His presence, His Word, prayer, tithes, offerings, communion, fellowship in your local church, worship, and the peace of Jerusalem. Love and obey His Word. Bless His house, Israel, and the poor. Be humble. Steward and celebrate the testimonies of what God has done in your life. Rehearse His miracles. Pray in the Spirit and cultivate your relationship with the Holy Spirit. These are some of the things God highlights as His priorities. His Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy. So if you seek His Kingdom first, you are going to experience more and more the Shalom of God, which is wholeness, prosperity, and peace in every area of your life.

Don't Quit

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison...The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph's charge, because the LORD was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed. Genesis 39:21, 23

Joseph is a wonderful hero for us as we enter this year of favor. He had a God-given dream as a young man that grew more remote with every passing year. He was persecuted, thrown in a pit, sold into slavery, imprisoned. But wherever he went, God's favor rested on him. In every situation, God's favor went before him, promoting him, increasing him, and equipping him for his destiny. So don't quit. Don't let the events of the past discourage you from pursuing the dreams, visions, and goals God has put in your heart. Keep your dreams bigger than your failures. Whatever has happened in the past, you can tell the devil, "It's a new day!"

Relax

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

God has wonderful plans for you. So don't put self-inflicted stress on your life. Be faithful. Keep seeking God's presence and following His cloud. But relax! God's got your plans under control. He wants to prosper you and give you a hope and a future. Your job is to stay close to the Shepherd, listen to His voice, and then rest in the assurance of His grace and mercy working on your behalf. It is His delight to see you fulfill the awesome plans He has for you. He is a promise-keeper.

Yes, you will still experience challenges. Scripture says that the very plan God had for Joseph "tested him until it came to pass" (Psalm 105:19). God's plans are not to harm you. So don't be afraid of the challenges, or define your future by your past. When your life seems to be in the pit, God is working behind the scenes to bring you out on the other side in victory.

Give Thanks

Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving (Psalm 50:14).

Thanksgiving is not a day on the calendar. It is a daily habit that we must steward every day of the year. It is one of the most powerful weapons in our arsenal, and is vital to experiencing the favor of God in your life.

Thanksgiving is not a feeling, but starts as an act of your will. Leviticus 22:29 says, "And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it of your own free will." It is a choice we make every day. It's like walking into a dark room in the middle of the night. It's dark. You can't see anything. You may even stumble around as you run into furniture or misplaced objects. You can either grumble and complain about the darkness, or simply turn on a switch. The moment you turn on the switch, you see the light. Our switch is thanksgiving. It releases the anointing. And the anointing "breaks the yoke" (Isaiah 10:27). So don't give into the darkness, discouragement, or fear. Turn on the switch with thanksgiving and see God's anointing come to break every yoke and hindrance. Your praise is the key to getting in tune with the year of God's favor.

Get in Tune

Set the atmosphere for favor. The Word of God is living, active and full of power. Meditate on the corporate picture the Lord is giving us in His Word for 2012. The following are some Scriptures the Lord has quickened to us for this year of favor. Put them on your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, or your desk. Let the Holy Spirit paint a picture for you, and then begin to step into it. As you get in tune, then begin to prophesy it over your life, your children, your church, and your nation.

God wants to pour out His favor on you individually, on us corporately, and on our nation. This is a crucial time in history. We need God's favor as never before. We invite you to join us as we prophetically proclaim the Year of God's favor and open the year with a time of corporate prayer and fasting. We want to set up a scenario by which God can pour out His Spirit in a mighty visitation.
