Word of the Lord for September 2014 By: Phyllis Ford

I don't know what to make of all this... but there is something afoot...

August 27, 2014

His Words:

“I am gathering the people who are ready to move forward. Those who have walked along the plain path and have not denied my name. So that they may receive their next set of instructions. For that which is going to be completed in this month will thrust them into a greater place of accomplishing my will. Many will have different assignments but once they are gathered together it will weave a pattern of timed release revelation. It will help them understand how the work of the Kingdom will be fulfilled and what needs to be improved upon now. There are so many complex issues that are coming to the surface. This is because of the significance of the hour and what must be done. In times past I spoke through my prophets and even warned you concerning the times that are occurring. And now the seriousness of the hour has come upon my people.”

“If you walk things out according to what I say and not what you see you will be able to rise above the fray. Operating, executing, and obeying me in alignment with my truth will cause you to overcome, accomplish and even assist others into the next phase of their lives. It’s important to learn to operate according to my instructions as they are spoken to you. Listen and prepare your ears to hear what I am saying to you. For you must walk it out without question. You are living in a time when obedience is the order of the day when it comes to making great strides.”

“Your discipline must bring you into a place where you are consciously aware of what is spiritually going on around you. You need to be able to move in the moment, without emotional reactions that keep you from doing what needs to be done right away. The old adage of, "putting off what you can do today tomorrow”, could cause serious consequences. The intent of my words is not to set fear in you. Many of my people by my grace have survived some serious situations. There has been times that I have been clear with them and they refused to hear. Some will delay in their hearing and in the future it could cost them dearly.”

“Disobedience is rebellion pure and simple. Truth is truth and there are no gray areas. You are living in a time when understanding the seriousness of truth is of prime importance. This is a time of accountability. To be a disciple comes with a serious responsibility and the understanding of commitment to the kingdom. It's about duty, honor, and integrity and about those who have a heart and spirit of humility.”

Philippians 2:5-8 (ASV) “Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.”

“This is no longer a time to allow rebellion to rule your heart. Don’t allow complacency to trouble your mind and cause you to halt between two opinions. This is not an hour to be double-minded, but to allow my word and my truth to settle in your heart and calm your spirit from fighting inward struggles. You must find peace and comfort in my word allowing it to make the necessary changes and transformation in you.”

“This hour calls for your diligence concerning the things of my Spirit. If you cry out for it I will release a mighty impartation upon you that will transform your thinking and change your reactions towards others. Pray and cry out! For I will hear you and answer your cry. I am looking to raise up many who are willing to make great transformations in this hour. They are yours for the asking and they are nigh at your door. Only believe my beloved. The transformation is not difficult for those who desire change for the anointing to change into another man is NOW.”

“You refuse to live your life based on kingdom principles and then you question the reality that you have created. You can no longer live your life the way you want and then wonder, “Why things have gone wrong?” Remember you are my beloved and there are times when one's attitude, one’s refusal to hear and obey, and even one’s slothfulness can keep you from seeing your way out. Yes, there will be times of my testing and times of my refining. These times will lead you to places in me that will give you understanding as to where you are headed.  You can no longer halt between two opinions. You must choose and you must decide in this hour what course your life will take.”

1 Kings 18:21 “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

“Those who are willing and obedient will be the first to enter into promotion, redeem rewards, and receive the portion I have ordained for them in this season. Even revelation needed for this hour will be for those that consistently walk upright holding on in faith in the midst of adversity. This is a time to believe and lay aside your opinions if they are not formed according to my word.”

“There are things before you that will appear one way but carry a shadow. The shadow is only a small glimpse of what’s really there, but there is a precise moment in which the light reveals the very nature of what has been prepared for you. These suddenlies will make sense to you and you will see that which was before you all along was set as a provision for your future. “

“Revelation will be walked out, and that which you have been praying for will appear before you clearly because you have entered into the fullness of time. Look with the eyes of faith and ask me to interpret what you are looking at because some things will be shadowed by your inability to fully understand it. It will be protected by my glory and released at the time appointed. You will understand and it will become clear to you as you come into the season of its fullness.”

I asked the Lord to give me a clear understanding of what was being said.

This was the answer:

1. It will become like the ram in the bush that is revealed at the time of its need, once Abraham's test was complete. (Genesis 22:13)

2. It will become like the food for the multitude of the five thousand when it first perceived to be the lunch of a young lad. (Matthew 14:17-21)

3. It will become like the needed substance to cover the widow’s debt but it was originally a cruse of oil and borrowed pots. (2 Kings 4:1-38)

(I believe that I just scraped the surface and there is so much that needs to be prayed for the fullness of this to be truly understood.)

“Never forget that things may appear one way, but once my hands touch these matters they are changed to become the answer for the circumstances that stand before you. Never look at anything again as being the finality of the matter, because it is through my hands all things can shift, change, conform, and transform to become what is the answer for the situation. Let this principle become real in your heart and endless possibilities will be revealed to you.”

“You are entering into the fullness of time as Rosh Hashanah unveils this moment.  In this approaching hour it will change the course of many lives forever. Many things will unfold for Israel, and many things will unfold for my people because all has come into the time of my complete plan. It has been covered but now it is at the time of its revealing. It will earmark great change across the land. It will sweep nations, it will judge the systems of men, and it will change those things that are in its path with purpose, reform, and new life. It will also bring understanding making that which opposes the work of the kingdom clear.”

“There will be a clear distinction as to what the loyalties of the world are and the loyalties of those who will work within the Kingdom. This is a time to be sober-minded but know there will be a shout, a time of rejoicing, and a time of my glory upon my people like never before. September marks the arrival to the destination of my power being revealed upon the land. Know that I will have a people prepared ready to walk out my plan according to my timings.”

“Many have prayed and asked when would these times come? Look now beloved, for you are standing in a key moment of time. You have now entered into this month of September and October all the way through the High Holy Days (From Rosh Hashanah unto the Feast of Tabernacles). Know this is not just be another set of feast but this one will be like none other. It is the time of times and within it carries the Fullness of the Destiny of my people.”

“So look up, be attentive to my words, listen to sounds in the heavens, and stay before my presence. You are standing in front of a door in time and behind this door is OPEN REVELATION to many truths that will be released for all times. A door of destiny and destination, which leads to my path of righteousness, to the salvation of souls, and to the redeeming of a people to show them the way of the light.”

“Many will awake because of the shaking that will take place. They will not just come to the light but they will become the LIGHT out of a dark place. They will become walking REVELATIONS of my words. I will move through your situations blotting out the iniquities of those who want to change and become my people.”

“You will see circumstances change overnight. Even for those who say there is nothing that can happen to help us. Some of the greatest strongholds of evil will be uncovered, because they will manifest in the face of my glory. Know that once it is uncovered a strategy to dismantle it will be revealed. Prayer will always be an important key to overcome the enemies work as my word will continue to unlock mysteries and truths that will carry with it the power to destroy and dismantle those works. For you will be the mighty weapons in my hands.”

“Set a watch over events occurring at the beginning of this month and pray. During the first five days of Rosh Hashanah (beginning September 24th-29th) Watch, Pray, Listen, & Hear my voice of instruction. For will I speak to you words of strength and light.  They will be words of great power spoken at the gate.”

Other Related Scriptures:

Jeremiah 6:17 “I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.”

Haggai 2:4 “But now be strong, Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD.  'Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,' declares the LORD, 'and work. For I am with you,' declares the LORD Almighty.”

Ezekiel 46:3 “Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the Sabbaths and in the New Moons.” [See also Ezek 45:17]

1 Corinthians 4:5 “Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from Elohim.”

Acts 3:19-21 “Repent, then, and turn to Elohim, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you even Yahusha.  He must remain in heaven until the time comes for Elohim to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.”

Then Elohim said: "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons (Hebrew, Ulemoadim), and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth; and it was so” (Genesis 1:14, 15, NAS).

Elohim had planned into the creation of the world the use of the stars and planets to mark times and seasons.  The movement of the sun, moon and stars were provided for this very reason.  The Creator placed them in the sky as time markers.  His appointed times were part of his plan for man even before man himself was created. Elohim placed the lights in the sky on the fourth day of creation to mark (among other things) his appointed times!

IMAGINE THE KINGDOM by Axel Sippach

"Let the little children come to me, for this is a picture of how the Kingdom of God operates!"

This is the Sippach paraphrase version. Have you ever wondered why Jesus gave this particular illustration?

Many have said it is because of their innocence or purity. And those would be correct answers. But what about this explanation?

Could it be because of their imagination? Could it be because little children have such vivid imaginations, they can see the possibilities of anything happening they imagine?

The Apostle Paul said that God will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask, think, or imagine.

God has given us His Word in order to be able to imagine all the possibilities of the Kingdom of God' and to have a foundation of faith to believe him for all these possibilities to potentially be manifested in our lives. It just takes childlike imagination and faith.

Albert Einstein said imagination was everything - that it was the preview of life's coming attractions.

Scripture has so many "pictures" of the Kingdom, the OT prophets included. It is as if many of them were seated in a theater and God pulled back the curtain to give them future glimpses of what this amazing Kingdom will look like. They may not have fully understood it, but it is being revealed to us New Covenant saints by the Spirit day by day, and from generation to generation.

We must IMAGINE THE KINGDOM - this incredible Kingdom God has prepared for us from before the foundation of the world - from before creation of time itself. It is an eternal invisible Kingdom not confined by the visible time-space continuum we live. It can be imagined. It must be imagined.

We must see beyond our temporal visible perspective a Kingdom that Jesus said has not come with observation. But even though it has not come with observation, it is on the inside of every disciple of Jesus, and will be made visible to the cosmos - to the world through us.

Romans 8 says he whole world is groaning and travailing waiting for the manifestation of the sons of the God - the sons of the Kingdom - the sons of glory. We will make this invisible Kingdom visible to the world. And one of the main ways we do it is by the love we have one to another. That is what Jesus, the King of this Kingdom said - that this is how the world will know the Father had sent Him.

We live in a Kingdom of incredibly powerful potential and possibilities. We must IMAGINE THE KINGDOM like little children. Read the prophets like Isaiah and others and see how God has given them a picture of what it is to look like.

The Kingdom of God - it is here and now - with infinite possibilities. When we pray the Lord's Prayer for the Kingdom to come on earth as in heaven, we are not now awaiting some future Kingdom to show up. No - we are praying for the one Jesus established as a mustard seed to grow into a mighty tree. We are praying for it to grow like yeast in dough.

Ecclesiastes says He has set eternity in our hearts. We are praying for heaven to manifest on earth.

We are praying for the Kingdom of Heaven that is in us by the Holy Spirit - that Kingdom that Jesus 2000 years ago said was at hand - to expand and advance through us - by the power of the Holy Spirit throughout the earth.

But we must IMAGINE THE KINGDOM first like a little child. Go ahead - IMAGINE!!!

Torment for Ignorance?

The classic case of bad religion is the teaching that God sends all people to hell even if they have never heard any testimony of Jesus.  Romans talks about there is a place for seeing creation and coming to the conclusion that the must be a God... somewhere, by some name.. unknown.  Well that's pretty limited.  So what of him or her.  They die. As millions have.  Where do they end up?  They end up in the grave.  Dead.  Eternal life is not theirs.  But neither is eternal torment.  They are those of no stripes.  They have eternity without God.  Dead.  Perished.

Consider this.  You are a person who grows up in the back desert of Tibet.  You are never even exposed to anything close to the truth of the Gospel.  You may have some religious leanings, but pretty much you are totally unexposed.  You die.  IF you were to go into torment.. with what or how would the demons torment you?  You are not guilty of anything.  You never heard the truth at any level.  You do not however inherit eternal life.  That is reserved for Believers from the moment they believe.

On the other hand, you are a person raised in the heartland of the USA.  Dragged to Sunday School.  Sat thru sermons. Witnessed to by friends and relations.  You out of hand reject all of that. You think it is a bunch of fiction and reject it out of hand.  Now you die.   You now will expereice the rejection, torment, pain and seperation from God you could have had.  Hell is that. It's alone.  It's dark. And the demons cry out YOU FOOL.  YOU COULD HAVE HAD HEAVEN.  NOW YOUR ARE TRAPPED HERE FOREVER WITH US.

I use the following passage from Luke 12 to help explain this.  Highlights are mine.

35 “ Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit. 36 Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. 37 Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them. 38 Whether he comes in the  second watch, or even in the  third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves. 39 “But  be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be  broken into. 40 You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not  expect.” 41 Peter said, “Lord, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?” 42 And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his  servants, to give them their rations at the proper time? 43 Blessed is that slave whom his  master finds so doing when he comes. 44 Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 45 But if that slave says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk; 46 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers. 47 And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, 48 but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of  a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

Do you see?  You are responsible for the light you receive and are rewarded (Punished) by how much you carry.  I pity the one who has heard and even at one time tried to walk with God.. but now has rejected Him fully.  His stripes will be MANY in hell.

Hell is NOT the same for all people --- by the way, neither is heaven.. but that's another story

Manipulation of the Word of God to manipulate people

The best interpretation of the word of God is found in the word of God.  So many televisions preachers and some local preachers twist the word of God to accomplish their own goals.

The most egregious of these are those who try to extract money from people by promises of huge returns if they will just be obedient and send a certain amount of money.  Mike Murdock is famous for this.  He is always coming up with some inane amount of money that if you just sent it to him WINDOWS of heaven would open up.

Of course the people that need it the worst are the most susceptible.

Let's look at the passages they use to convince people.  There are a lot.  To be fair, I can take any page of the Bible and use a passage from it to create an offering sermon.  If you can't do this you are asleep.  I can also make a appeal for an altar call and a communion sermon from any page of the Bible.  It's not hard.. if you know how.

Those who use these manipulations are skilled in this as well.  It's witchcraft.  Telling people they will reap a harvest by making a specific gift.  The one I heard yesterday on Benny Hinn was Brian Carn.  He said that if you sent him $123.23 you would reap a great reward.  That's simply lottery mentality.

One of the passages people use to extract money from people is Luke 6:28.   "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

That sounds great... right?  Until you read the passage in cotext, the way Jesus taught it suddenly you see that the meaning is not at all what you think.

Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

This passage, this teaching has to do with mercy, judggement, love and how we get back what we give... good or bad.  From Men.  Money has nothign to do with this.  It does talk of gernerosity, but to one another.  It talks of forgiveness to one another, even those who are not worthy.

If you study grace, generosity and forgiveness you will see that they are words descriptive of the RIGHTEOUS man.  So when David says he never has seen the righteous forsaken, nor their children begging bread, you have a pretty good idea of Righteousness.

Another proof text is the Seedtime and Harvest in Genesis in context this is what it says.

Genisis 8:20 Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
You have to remember what the earth was like before the flood.  No rain.  No seasons. Just a mist in the atmosphere that watered the earth.  When the Rainbow promise was make then cycles of earth began.  Cold, Heat, Summer winter, seedtime harvest.  Day and Night.   Some of that was there before the flood, but afterwards things changed.  It has NOTHING whatever to do with giving.  God's command to go forth be  fruitful and multiply to replenish the earth references the new seasons and the new terraform of the earth, winter, summer, seedtime harvest cold heat and RAIN.  The new thing.   This passage speaks of opprotunyt and mandate, but nothign about money, giving or seed faith.

The last place most people go is Malachi 3.  The windows of heaven.

Malachi 3:6 “I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed. 7 Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned my decrees and failed to obey them. Now return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“But you ask, ‘How can we return when we have never gone away?’ 8 “Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’ “You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. 9 You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease.[a] Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 12 “Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

The promise is true. Be loyal and faithful in tithes and offereings and God's provision and protection will be in effect.  This is not about giving to a ministry... per se.  It is once again about being and manifesting storehouse mentality in generosity.  That which pours out blessing, rebukes insects, makes certain of a harvest and being a testimony to the nature.  Nothing about seed faith here either.

IF you are called of God to sow a seed, and I have been, then you should obey.  On the other hand if someone tells you how much to send in manipulation as Brian Carn did... that is not a prophetic act.   That is manipulation and witchcraft.

There will be a call to account.

Lawlessness is a Demon

We see what we think is a riot, mayhem, protest, anger.

I have news for those who think this is righteous indignation.  It's a mob.  A spirit that takes over. It's an animal spirit.  Herd mentality.  You go along because you are there and to not go along takes courage.  I know because in my life I have been taken up by this. I'll bet you have too.  Think of Lynch Mobs.  No single individual would ever think of lynching someone.  Not enough courage or evil.  When you get a group of people together and there is an instigator you will see the lynch mob do it's thing. When that takes place you know there is demonic influence.

So when you see what you are seeing in Missouri, recognize it for what it is, a demon of lawlessness.  Anger, hate, rage and insanity.  Not humanity.

It must be cast out.  You can't make peace with a demon.  You can't tolerate it.  You can't create a place for them. They must be cast out. The house must be put in order.  Without order there is no peace.

Peace without order is futile.  Order must prevail first.  Calls for peace without expelling the demon is insanity.

If you don't fix this now, seven more worse than the first will return.  That's why we have what we have.  What makes it worse is that there are ministers (I saw one interviewed on TV) who are trying to work with these demonic spirits.  They have become enablers.  Clouds without rain. Worse than no help at all.

A disclaimer. I am simply a Prophet. You need to know the truth about this.

I am not a final authority on the Word of God.  I am constantly discovering depths that are new and fresh. It helps me measure what I see and hear.  The screen thru which all experiences are filtered.  The more of the Word I have in me, the better the screen.

Yet sometimes the screen gets plugged up with worldly crud.  I have to clean that screen with washing words of regeneration.  Words that come from many places, but even that must be filtered carefully.

I don't mind people wanting to question or argue my teachings or writings.  I wrote them, I better be able to defend them well. I don't make this stuff up. It is hammered out carefully, not by reading other people's books as much as taking what the Word says and carefully parsing out what was really meant by that saying.

It helps that today we have many translations of the word of God from many sources.  I don't singularly trust them all, but they all carry some light.  Just depending on ONE is danger.  The amplified can give you depth, the NLT can give you perspective, the KJV will give you historical poetic importation, the NASB/NKJV takes that a step further, the NIV offers modern english, the ESV is practical, the Message is interesting if wild and the God's Word Translation is sometimes readable.

Then a good dictionary and concordance will help. The published commentaries are good..  and I will look at them but understand they are a perspective only.  Not much better than many of the heterodox books that litter the Christian Book Stores.  Just older.  I own a few that I may toss someday. Big OLD books that are NOT inspired of God at all.

So, when you see a writing, it is not something made from whole cloth, it is rooted in a half century of personal digging and experience in the word of God.  Maybe not as readable as I wish.  I'm not nearly as glib a writer as many.  Maybe not as well footnoted as some, JESUS would be a prime footnote.  YET.. they are grounded deep and when filtered thru the screen with a prophet's gift they do carry whatever weight you decide to attach.

This is not simply one man's opinion and my opinion is as good or bad as any others.  That would miss the point of what God imparts thru his Prophets.  Paul said it best, "Despise not prophecy"  or as the NLT puts it: 1 Thess 5:19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. 20Do not scoff at prophecies, 21but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. 22Stay away from every kind of evil.

Still a good plan.

Death, Sin and HELL

Cancer, Ebola, Pneumonia, War, Car Accidents, Heart Attacks, Shootings, Drug Overdose, out of whack medication and severe depression can all kill people.  One is not a more blessed way to die, they all end up the same, in the grave.  Death is the result of sin, originally.  Still is.

When those things happen, how the person who died stood at that second, (as a bomb goes off in Jerusalem and people are killed instantly) where that person was in relation to Christ matters.. positionally.  Their sin state at that second or not makes no matter at all.  Jesus paid it all.. past present future or he didn't pay it at all.

What if a person lies, doesn't repent and the bomb goes off... Heaven or hell? Even if they had devoted their lives as a Christian but slipped up and then died in an instant would not God credit them of the Blood of Jesus?  Anger can cause people to sin in a moment.  Hanging them over the mouth of hell for that moment is not God.  Profound depression can cause people to sin for a moment, sometimes it ends up terminal..

NOW here's the question?  If a person IS a Christian, A believer, has tried but failed (as we all have) but sins and it cost his or her life.. a car accident (texting and driving), ate too much fat meat and died of a heart attack, stood up to the wrong guy and got shot... they are just as dead.

I can't and won't judge a person's place in the spectrum of the Grace of God.  It's bigger than I might admit and maybe bigger than I would administer as a human.  I know it's sufficient.  It's enough.  AND I think if we understood His grace, his father's heart towards us we might not be so ready to kick people into hell.  But who am I... just your humble prophet.

Marks of a true prophet

I spend a lot of time among people who are prophets, prophetic and the company of prophets. I give grace to those still developing (including me). I will forgive presumption. I will not overlook trying to sell the free gift of grace God gave you. In truth of the hundreds of "prophets" I know, many personally, there are very very few who in my discernment are genuinely in the office of Prophet. I could name a few... but it's a pretty short list. Most are pretenders who use prophetic jargon to maintain their place on ministry platform.

This is not criticism, it has always been this way. You only need to read the Bible in the first 39 books. Lots of house prophets, court prophets, prophets for money, prophets who didn't have a clue. Jeremiah seemed to live there. I will not say anything, but if I don't come to your big prophetic conference, don't hate me.. I will when some real prophets show up.

A few clues that a real prophet is among you: A prophet prophesies.. not telling you your SS number nor what you had for breakfast, he/she will speak to you destiny, your worth, your purpose, your value, your challenges, answer your questions. If he/she is legit, it will be a bit disturbing. It shouldn't always just reinforce what you already know. The idea that a prophet always has to be an encouragement is wrong.

He/she must also be able to confront, sometimes directly, sometimes obscurely. You won't forget what a prophet says. It's not a teaching, it's seeing things as God sees them. He speaks from the throne. The prophet is simply a messenger. A carrier pigeon.

When I see some prophet taking 3 offerings from a place where people can't afford it something is wrong. I won't name them, but there are some alleged prophets who are abusive. It's not my place to call them out UNLESS they are damaging to the Sheep.

God cares more about his sheep than his shepherds. He will take out, expose, dethrone, defrock or even destroy the shepherd (including prophets) who damage the people of God. A powerful meeting may not mean a prophet was among you It might mean that he/she knows how to put on a powerful meeting.

Most of the time the REAL prophets are seldom invited to bring a word... it strikes fear in the hearts of leaders. I have had more than ONE senior pastor say to me, "You scare the hell out of me". That makes me know I am on track. I should scare HELL out of them and Heaven into them. That's the call of the prophet.. to be a troubler of Israel.. and then point out to the Ahab of the house that HE is the real trouble. (and so is his wife Jezebel) Hope that helps.

REPOST.. Regarding the Suicide of Robin Williams

Several years ago I wrote this in response to the suicide of  the daughter of a friend of our's.  Her mom needed some answers.  Perhaps this will give you perspective.  This has nothing whatever to do with IF Robin Williams was or was not a Christian.  I am not speaking to that.  It has more to do with the father heart of God and his response to one who commits the last ultimate sin of suicide.

From July 2, 2010

When a Person dies with Unconfessed Sin... Heaven or Hell?

If we can understand the Father heart of God, we can understand how he deals with our sin. Even the very last sin we ever commit. Without it we deal with sin by human understanding

We cannot get the sin out of our lives. It's there. It's part of our flesh. It's something we will do battle with until our last breath. We can do nothing about it. John the Apostle said it best to BELIEVERS. "IF we say we have no sin we are deceived and without truth in us." I didn't say that. Read chapter one of First John. It's all there. So sin is ever with us. We confess it and Jesus forgives. That much everyone can agree on.

So, what of the unconfessed sin? One where a person never had a chance to confess? One where in a moment of failure and weakness a person has just sinned, then an atom bomb goes off. Heaven or HELL? What is his or her future? I mean the sin wasn't confessed.

Does God then say, "Well, I know you were my son, confessed Jesus as your savior, was faithful for all those years and then, you messed up; you just didn't get that confession in on time." HELL awaits. That would make Father God a vindictive IRS agent.

How foolish to think such a thing. Let's see if we can understand.

Salvation is a gift of Grace. It's unmerited favor. You didn't earn it because of anything you did, you can't lose it by being stupid in something you did. Ephesians 2:8-9 This is not a license to sin, just step away from the fear in your life from religious condemnation: Romans 8:1

IF you didn't earn it by being good, you can't lose it by being bad.

OH, it may be possible to claw your way to hell after being saved, but it requires more will than I have ever known anyone to have. Once you have received a glimpse of Glory you will not go back. Even if you fall into temporary delusions that end your life.

If you have children, they are precious to you. They are the focus of your preservation. You will do anything you know how to do to bring them to maturity. And you aren't very good at it since you are mortal and not God. But you do what you must. You give and give and even if they seemingly walk away from you, you keep calling them home.

IF one of those children rebels, gets into a bad place, does very bad things, they are still your child. You still love them. You still want the best for them. You will still will receive them into your home. Even if they take you for granted. They might even seem to reject you, but when they find themselves in terrible trouble they will speak your name, particularly if you are a mom. Remember, this is how WE deal with and care for our natural children. And we are sinful humans.

How much MORE will our Heavenly Father deal with us even more graciously when we fall and fail. Even when we do in the worst ways. He doesn't reject us because of our sin. IF He did he would be saying to us, "The price paid on the cross was not sufficient". Really? Of course the price was sufficient. One drop of Jesus blood would have been enough to wash away every sin ever committed. But He sent a FLOOD to push back anything the enemy raises against us. "For he will come like a raging flood tide driven by the breath of the LORD". Isaiah 59:19b

Now to the hard question. If a person takes their own life in a moment of despair and pain or if they are murdered on the street while engaged in something evil or if their life ends early in an auto accident while drunk, in other words they die in a moment of failure, do they go to heaven or hell? I know what tradition says: Let's see what Jesus said about tradition, "You make word of God of No Effect because of your traditions". Mark 7:13

IF a person is a son or daughter of the Father, a free gift he gave, a covenant he keeps, then is there any sin that can separate (Romans 8:38-39) or pluck them out of the hand of God (John 10:28)?

Nothing.

Or we would all be lost because we sin daily.

That is the REAL answer to the hard question people ask in these times.

Can one lose their salvation? I suppose it is possible to renounce any trust or faith in Jesus blood and His sacrifice at the cross. But, that would presuppose that they knew it at one time. And if you did know it, wouldn't that be very difficult? Or even impossible?

I have known good, even great men of God who struggle with their emotions up and down who find themselves at the end of themselves and in a moment of failure end it in a suicide. That last sin was unconfessed. Based on what we have seen I'm not God, but I know His Fathers heart. He would call to them. And they to Him. And He brings them HOME to stay. Just like a prodigal who stumbles home smelling of a pigpen. Father doesn't reject, he runs.

Looking into the Father Heart of God we can have even the Hard questions answered.

The Dynamic Duo... Force Shield of Prayer and Prophetic Preaching

If you watch much Sci Fi you will soon come across the implementation of some kind of force field.  It's universal.  An easy device.  We all wish we had a force field.  We do.. but we don't use it.

Yet today we have a situation where the enemy is shooting darts and winning. Fear, Anarchy, Lawlessness, Cultural Collapse and Evil victorious.

The first response for many Christians is prayer.  That's good but the Father reminds us that WE are a part of the answer to every prayer we pray.  Prayer without action is useless.

The enemy knows this and uses prophetic preaching to activate evil action among his followers.  The glib motivating words of misleaders has led us to this point.  To get us out of this mess will require that the true called and anointed of God speak boldly and prophetically to the people of God.

Most will not.  It would mean a loss of members. It would mean a loss of income. It would mean cultural discrediting.  You would be called all kinds of names.. in front of your face and behind your back.

There is no law against calling evil EVIL and good GOOD. None.  Yet we allow the enemy to constantly call good evil and evil good and not say a word.

Pray but take action.   That will require you to speak boldly. Speak without consideration of the consequence.  Soft and couched words have no power even if you pray 24 hours a day.

Start speaking up, you are the called force field.  Prayer support will be there as you do.  One without the other is useless and worthless.

NOW START SPEAKING OUT!!

JESUS - Not worth losing your head over.. or

I am haunted by the persecution, murder and violence being carried out by Islamist militants in Iraq and Syria.  These are evil anti Christ spirit demonically possessed people.  The hang, crucify, shoot and behead anyone who differs from them..   And the most peculiar are Christians.  They suffer most.  They are being killed for the confessions of Faith.

To a secular humanist they would say, "Why not convert, adapt, survive,   I mean is this really what it's all about?  This is nothing to lose your head over."

We were warned of the long deep cycles of violence that would come from the anti Christ spirit.  They happened before and are happening again.

Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.

The question is of those who DID lose their head over the Testimony about Jesus... those in Iraq and Syria.  Those in Nigeria.  Those in Sudan.  Was it worth losing their heads?  I may be reading this passage wrongly.. or not, but they may sit in judgement of our anemic testimony as western Christians.  We will to to our churches today, sing a few tunes, hear a lecture, give our money and drink a little coffee but in the end we will have done nothing.  We surely didn't lose our heads.

We are safe secure and the cloud of witnesses judge our devotion.. or lack of.  I will tell you as a prophet, the call of God is going to carry a greater price than you think.  It will cost you everything.
In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples. Luke 14:33

Now is it worth it?  I wonder how many of those persecuted in Iraq have wondered about the rapture... And been disappointed by bad teaching.

Matthew10:21"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 22"You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. 23"But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.…
The Son of Man came.  He conquered.  He established His Kingdom. He has subjects.  They are proving to be loyal unto death.  Now how about us?  Are we?   I ask the question even for myself.

The Anti Maxim

Whenever we read a great truth, a great saying, a great promise in the Bible and apply it to our lives, it is a Maxim worth living to. There is also equal and opposite maxims.. Anti-Maxims. They are as valid and as powerful. We can not thinking live to them as well.

One came to mind this morning. Know (receive) the truth and the truth shall set your free.

The anti-maxim is Know (receive) a lie and the lie will put you in chains.

Then there is this well quoted passage:
Proverbs 4:5
Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them.
6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.
7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get[a] wisdom.
Though it cost all you have,[b] get understanding.
8 Cherish her, and she will exalt you;
embrace her, and she will honor you.
9 She will give you a garland to grace your head
and present you with a glorious crown.”

When you consider the anti maxim in this it's brutal stuff

Avoid wisdom or understanding. Remain willingly ignorant
Reject any wisdom anyone tries to impart. You know better.
Forsake wisdom and you will be vulnerable to all attacks of the enemy, you will have no one to look out for you.
In the end wisdom is too costly, don't bother, don't even try to understand. It's too hard.
Make fun of those who try to help you become wise, if you do it will debase you,
Eschew wisdom and you will end up dishonored. Shame will grace your head and you will stand in the courts of losers uncrowned with anything but filth.

YET people live exactly like the anti maxim and wonder why their lives are such a mess.

Manifested Spirits

Everything you see around you, all the good bad and ugly, all of creation, all of the glory of the heavens, all the evil, all the war, all the violence on our streets, all the beauty in nature, all the goodness one person shows to another, all the love, all the innocent, the laughter of children, the cry of the suffering and oppressed, the greed and hatred, poverty and want... ALL of it is a manifestation of something spiritual. Show me the circumstance and situations and I will show you the spirit behind it. From Shakespeare "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves -

God is a Spirit and His creation is good and perfect... and we see it manifested all around. His creation reflects HIMSELF

Man, in his image is in and essence spirit and we see in all around us the manifestation of what spirit we be. When you see what is manifesting all around any person or people, the question is, what spirit being manifested?

So when we see things that make us sick, angry, fearful, awestruck, discouraged, victimized, abused, ... ask yourself of Jesus when He said to his Disciples...

Luke 9:54When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?" 55But He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know of what spirit you are; 56for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." And they went on to another village.

Peace in the Valley

Sometimes there are storms that sweep across the landscape.  The higher up the mountain you are, the stronger the winds.  Mountaintops are wonderful for the view and the fresh air, but the greater altitude will make you more vulnerable to strong headwinds you never knew existed when you were in the valley.

Some valley experiences, those low times, are to give you rest, respite and restoration of your peace.  You were meant to soar, to reach the heights, to climb, to go as high as you can go..

Yet when you are in a valley, even a high valley, it's a place for rethinking, resetting, becoming what you were meant to become.

Climb every mountain the song says.. yet there is Peace in the Valley.. just don't stay there forever.

From a man who just had a valley experience, but now is looking at the mountain again.. give me that mountain.

I have changed my view on ministering to the imprisoned and the homeless

I have done both a great deal. Our problem as ministers is, we think the fruit of our efforts is to change (save and rescue) those to whom we minister. To get the homeless off the street and back into productive society or to get the one trapped in the revolving door of prison out for good and in a healthy life.

No. I no longer believe we can operate in that expectation. In both ministries measuring "Success" by transformation will frustrate and discourage us. We must understand that the ability to escape the trap they find themselves in is not our job. We must offer them hope, prophesy good over them, build them up in the word of God as best we can, give them a script of good music to compete with the junk they will otherwise hear and be a listening ear. If that doesn't open the door by the Holy Spirit nothing including our best fleshly efforts will. Feeding and clothing the poor should be a small part of what we do.

So minister to both groups without unrealistic expectations. You do what you can. Don't enable. Don't be easy. Love but with boundaries.

If you do this without trying to hobble yourself with impossible measurements you will be doing the work of God. Let the Holy Spirit do HIS work.. and you ain't Him.
